So I promise I'm not dead yet, just pretty M.I.A. for a while.

I haven't been very active here in a long time but if I'm lucky that'll change in the near(ish) future. I'll be moving after the holidays this year which is a big step in itself, quite a ways away from my hometown so I'm both nervous and excited. Right now I'm apartment hunting, trying to avoid the iffy parts of the city as much as I can, as well as looking for some place close to the local campus. On the plus side there will be more efficient internet providers, as well. ( ) I happen to be looking forward to that last bit the most. I'm having internet withdrawals, seriously.

Although honestly I don't know if I'll be keeping this account. I'm not so fond of my current username anymore, it'd be nice to go by something more defining instead of some vague video game reference. And there is something kind of fun about starting from the ground up, having a fresh start. It might give me the enthusiasm to post more often, even. I don't know, I'm geeky enough to be giddy about those things.

Long story short I'm alive and although facing some major life changes very soon, am doing fine. I hope you all are as well. I really want to thank you guys that stopped by and left me comments in my absence, that's really what makes it all worthwhile. Really, it makes me grin and feel all fuzzy.
